Mourant Ozannes lawyers top list of world's leading Private Client advisers

Six Mourant Ozannes lawyers have been included on a list of the world's top 200 trust and estate legal practitioners known as the 'Private Client Global Elite' compiled by Legal Week Intelligence. Mourant Ozannes has more lawyers included on the list than any other offshore law firm.

International Trusts and Private Client (ITPC) lawyers, Bruce Lincoln, Edward Devenport, Giles Corbin, Jim Edmondson, Jonathan Speck and Matthew Guthrie have been awarded the accolade. They form part of the leading offshore firm's integrated global ITPC team, which provides contentious and non-contentious advice to clients all over the world.

The Private Client Global Elite was established by Legal Week to celebrate the achievement, excellence and success of the Global Elite trust and private client lawyers, and is supported by The American Lawyer and China Global Law and Practice. Guernsey Finance is a lead sponsor of the initiative.

The listing comes hot on the heels of the team's shortlisting in the 'International Legal Team of the Year' category at the prestigious STEP Private Client Awards, which will be announced in September.
