Conversion to LLP Status: Mourant Ozannes Cayman, Guernsey, Hong Kong & Jersey Partnerships

In common with the majority of large professional services firms, Mourant Ozannes has converted to limited liability partnership status in the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Hong Kong and Jersey. The Mourant Ozannes BVI partnership will be taking equivalent steps as local laws and regulations permit.

Cayman - Conversion of Mourant Ozannes, Cayman to be a limited liability partnership

The partnership of Mourant Ozannes, Cayman converted to be a limited liability partnership called Mourant Ozannes (Cayman) LLP, with effect on 1 February 2022, pursuant to Part 6 of the Limited Liability Partnership Act (2021 Revision) of the Cayman Islands.

Our Cayman Islands legal services are now provided by Mourant Ozannes (Cayman) LLP under the terms published on mourant.com.

Guernsey - Conversion of Mourant Ozannes, Guernsey to be a limited liability partnership

The partnership of Mourant Ozannes, Guernsey converted to be a limited liability partnership called Mourant Ozannes (Guernsey) LLP, with effect on 1 February 2021, pursuant to Part III sections 26 to 30 inclusive of the Limited Liability Partnerships (Guernsey) Law 2013.

Our Guernsey legal services are now provided by Mourant Ozannes (Guernsey) LLP under the terms published on mourant.com.

Hong Kong – Conversion of Mourant Ozannes, Hong Kong to be a limited liability partnership

The partnership of Mourant Ozannes, Hong Kong converted to be a limited liability partnership called Mourant Ozannes (Hong Kong) LLP, with effect from 5 July 2022, pursuant to the provisions of Part IIAAA of the Legal Practitioner's Ordinance (Cap. 159) of Hong Kong.

Legal services are provided by Mourant Ozannes (Hong Kong) LLP under its own terms of business published on mourant.com. Mourant Ozannes (Hong Kong) LLP is registered and regulated by the Law Society of Hong Kong as a Foreign Law Firm.

Jersey - Registration of Mourant Ozannes, Jersey as a limited liability partnership

The partnership of Mourant Ozannes, Jersey (the 'Previous Firm') has registered as a limited liability partnership in Jersey with effect on 1 February 2021, under the provisions of the Limited Liability Partnerships (Jersey) Law 2017. 

Our Jersey legal services are now provided by Mourant Ozannes (Jersey) LLP under the terms published on mourant.com. Mourant Ozannes (Jersey) LLP is a legal services body recognised under Article 17A of The Law Society of Jersey Law 2005.
