Marco Nel

Overview

I am an Associate in the Guernsey Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.

I advise on various aspects of litigation and contentious disputes including but not limited to trusts and regulatory proceedings.

In addition to my litigation and disputes resolution experience, I also have a strong background in South African and Guernsey property, wills, estates and probate matters. 

Before joining Mourant in 2024, I was an associate in the international private clients and trusts team of another offshore law firm in Guernsey.

Professional qualifications

• Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, 2018 (currently non-practising)
• LLM (summa cum laude) in International Humanitarian Law, UKZN, South Africa, 2015
• LLB, UKZN, South Africa, 2014
