Overview

I am a partner in our international Cayman and BVI practices. I have significant experience advising on a broad range of banking and finance, and debt restructuring transactions, with an emphasis on special situations financing and cross-border restructuring matters.

My practice advises major international financial institutions, credit funds, sponsors and borrowers with a focus on realising value in distressed situations, including security enforcements, special situations, debt restructurings and voluntary liquidations, and I am regularly approached to advise on offshore statutory merger regimes and schemes of arrangement. I also have extensive experience acting on cross-border leveraged and acquisition financing, real estate financing, take-private transactions and pre-IPO financing.

Prior to joining Mourant Ozannes in 2014, I worked for Hogan Lovells in Hong Kong, where I also worked on secondment for UBS and HSBC.

I am the former chair of the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association's Women in the Loan Market Asia committee. I’m also a former board member of the Hong Kong branch of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
