Governance Services

Director, Global Real Estate – Industry Lead

Overview

I am a director within Mourant Governance Services based in the London office.

I qualified as an English Solicitor in 2008 and then worked as in-house counsel for Hawksford International in Jersey where I assisted in establishing new funds and corporate structures.

I moved to Deutsche Bank in 2013 to become a Vice President in their Corporate Services team, acting on the board of the regulated entity of Deutsche Bank as well on client structures such as:

  • A holding structure for an £8bn mixed-use development involving an iconic landmark in central London
  • Multi-billion pound real estate portfolios
  • A €1.5bn multi exchange listed plc for a commodity-backed loan note programme
  • Capital market issuance vehicles (CLOs, re-packs, securitisations and master trust programmes)
  • Private equity carried interest structures
  • Aircraft leasing vehicles
  • Expert Funds

My legal background and experience helps ensure good governance and compliance with the transactional obligations for the entities I am responsible for.
