This Update covers a recent UK decision, in which the Court was asked to consider ordering disclosure of certain Suspicious Activity Reports filed by a Bank to the customer they related to, on the basis those SARs contained inaccurate and defamatory material. Access to the SARs was ultimately ordered, highlighting again the need for care over the content of SARs.
