Mourant advises on the acquisition of FPM 100 New Bridge Street Limited

Mourant's Corporate team in Guernsey has advised property investment and development company Helical plc on the acquisition of 100 New Bridge Street, London EC4, a 167,026 sq ft office building for a cash consideration of £160m. The property is held by Guernsey incorporated single asset company, FPM 100 New Bridge Street Limited.

The Mourant team was led by partner John Rochester with assistance from Alana Nisbet and Emma Alderton, providing support to lead counsel Clifford Chance on the corporate aspects of the transaction.

Helical plc is a leading UK real estate company specialising in the redevelopment and refurbishment of highly sustainable, best-in-class London office buildings and has plans to carry out a major refurbishment to the property which will have less impact on the environment than a ground up development.
