Mourant Trainee winner at Jersey Finance Rising Stars Awards

Holly Thebault, a Trainee in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team at Mourant in Jersey, has won the award in the Law category at the Jersey Finance Rising Stars Awards 2021 on 10 September 2021.

The Rising Stars Awards recognise and reward the achievements and successes of young talent within the Jersey finance industry. Over 150 professionals between the ages of 16 and 30 were nominated in 12 different categories and those shortlisted were selected by a panel of independent judges.

Holly, who has recently passed her Jersey law exams having jointly been awarded the prize for top mark in the contract paper of the exams alongside her colleague Nicola Le Boutillier, will be sworn in as a solicitor this December.

Holly has worked on a number of highly-pressured and demanding client cases whilst studying for the Jersey law exams. She is also a keen supporter of and participant in the firm's various social and community initiatives.  A passionate advocate of the benefits that running can have on mental health, she recently helped raise an over-all total of £53,000 for mental health charities by running 10km every day throughout February.
