Our Jersey funds team recently hosted a funds updater tailored to the local industry.
Consultant, Geoff Cook, joined Jersey Partner Tim Morgan and LP partner Felicia de Laat to provide an insight on global funds trends, with a focus on Private Equity and Real Estate themes emerging from lockdown. As well as an update on recent transactional activities from the Mourant practice, the session covered Jersey's jurisdictional positioning, changes to the Limited Partnership (Continuance) (Jersey) Regulations, and updates on private fund filings, regulatory financial crime examinations and sustainable investing.
