Sale Sharks Winger, and sevens record-breaker to join Barbarians-style team in bid for victory at Hong Kong tournament.
Young Walsall-born winger, Paolo Odogwu, is to join the Mourant Ozannes Samurai International line up chasing victory at the GFI HKFC 10s in April.
Odogwu signed to Sale Sharks in summer 2016 from Leicester Tigers, and made an impressive mark scoring a record-breaking eight tries in three games in the group stage (breaking the record of seven set by Christian Wade in the previous year) to be named Man of the Round during the 2016 Singha Premiership Rugby 7s Series.
The former England Under-20 player will add further punch to the Samurai team, impressing with footwork, pace and power. He joins South African fullback, Wynand Pienaar and 2016 Rio Games rugby Olympian and US 7s player, prop Garrett Bender announced earlier this week as details of Samurai's impressive line up start to emerge.
Samurai International RFC has also revealed its new kit design for the 2017 GFI HKFC 10s, continuing its partnership with leading law firm, Mourant Ozannes.
The striking shirts, produced by Samurai Sports, continue the squad's “Samurai Warrior” shirt theme and will be debuted by the Samurai team, which is making its eighth successive appearance at the GFI HKFC 10s tournament taking place on 5 and 6 April 2017.
