Mourant Ozannes maintains its position as the only Tier 1 legal adviser for Jersey investment funds

Jersey investment funds sector as the only law firm with a top ranking in Chambers Global 2017 guide, one of the world’s most respected legal directories. Mourant Ozannes has more Tier 1 rankings than any other law firm in Jersey.
Clients noted that they have "complete faith" in the advice Mourant Ozannes provides which "strikes the right balance between technical accuracy and commerciality". Four Mourant Ozannes lawyers were singled out for particular praise. The only two funds lawyers placed in band one in Jersey were the firm's "incredibly experienced and technically excellent" partner Ben Robins, and consultant Jacqueline Richomme. Partner Tim Morgan, described as a "leading technical lawyer", and "highly organised and focussed" partner Joel Hernandez, were also singled out for particular praise for their technical expertise and client service.
This Chambers recognition follows on from the strong directory feedback also obtained by partners Dan Birtwistle, Felicia de Laat and Mark Chambers in the most recent Legal 500, IFLR and Who's Who Legal directories and the recent strengthening of the team with the elevation of counsel Alistair Horn to partner, which takes the team to a market-leading seven partners, operating in a collegiate, all-equity partnership environment.
