New partner to join expanding Mourant Luxembourg office
02 May 2024
Mourant, a law firm-led professional services business, is growing its Luxembourg team with the announcement of a new partner appointment, effective from 2 May 2024.
Jan Dobrzensky joins the firm from Arendt & Medernach SA, where he worked across the Private Equity and Real Estate and the Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions teams.
Jan has experience of advising private equity and real estate funds as well as international and domestic companies in the fields of company law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2012 and of the Paris Bar since 2005.
Mourant Luxembourg partners, Pierre-Yves Magerotte and Aldric Grosjean, commented:
"We are delighted to celebrate the expansion of our team in Luxembourg at this exciting time in the evolution of the firm. Jan brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience which will further strengthen our offering and enable us to continue to provide the best service to our clients."
Jan added:
"I am excited and honored to be joining Mourant and am looking forward to working with colleagues across the firm to support its Luxembourg and international client-base across a range of complex transactional matters."
This latest Luxembourg partner announcement follows the internal partner promotion of Saniyé Tipirdamaz, head of the firm's Banking and Finance practice in Luxembourg, in February this year.
