Guernsey's beneficial ownership register: an overview

The Beneficial Ownership of Legal Persons (Guernsey) Law, 2017 (the Beneficial Ownership Law) came into force on 15 August 2017. In keeping with Guernsey's ongoing commitment to international standards and as part of co-ordinated initiatives between the UK and British Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories, it establishes a centralised non-public register of beneficial ownership of Guernsey legal persons (Registry).
