Mourant supports the Tour de Jersey 2024 in aid of Jersey Hospice Care
Mourant was proud to support the 2024 Tour de Jersey which took place this year on Sunday 14 July, raising over £16,000 for Jersey Hospice Care.
The funds raised by the cycling tour will allow the charity to continue to support people on the Island with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
This year's tour attracted over 500 cyclists, who were able to choose from one of four routes around the Island which were built with all abilities in mind. From families with little ones beginning to venture out on their bikes, to avid cyclists who braved the 100km leg stretcher, the tour had something for everyone.
As well as providing financial support to facilitate the event, team Mourant also saw 10 of our own cyclists and their families participate on the day, including Managing Director of Mourant Consulting, Mike Jones.
Mike commented:
"The Tour de Jersey was once again a wonderful addition to this summer's activities on the Island; helping to foster the community spirit that Jersey is so well known for, and raise funds for this vital charity.
"Anyone who has experienced the care, compassion and support that Jersey Hospice Care provide will know what an absolutely vital service it offers to people on the Island, and I am thrilled that the Tour de Jersey was such a success. I thoroughly enjoyed participating, and it was great to see so many individuals and families out on their bikes enjoying the stunning scenery Jersey has to offer."
