Mourant recognised among top global restructuring firms in GRR 30 2024
22 November 2024
Mourant, a law firm-led professional services business, has entered the rankings at number 27 in Global Restructuring Review’s 'GRR 30' 2024, a list of the world’s leading law firms for cross-border restructurings and insolvencies.
The GRR 30 is Global Restructuring Review's (GRR) list of the top 30 standout firms in the annual GRR 100 list. The rankings are made up of two factors: the firm's 'top 20' cases of the research period; and the number of lawyers listed in Lexology Index: Restructuring and Insolvency.
The aim of the rankings is to provide organisations with a list of the most competent and vouched-for international firms when choosing representation for cross-border restructuring work. Having vetted each firm for its demonstrable experience in cross-border matters, GRR is confident that those listed can offer dependable advice to stakeholders dealing with multinational businesses in distress.
Commenting on the firm's inclusion in the GRR 30, Nicholas Fox, Partner in the Mourant Restructuring and Insolvency practice said:
"We are delighted to be recognised in the prestigious GRR 30 this year. GRR's objective approach to using key metrics when deciding its rankings means that there is full transparency and acknowledgement of the big hitters in our practice. The Mourant Restructuring and Insolvency team continues to go from strength to strength, and this latest ranking is testament to that."
The Mourant global Restructuring and Insolvency practice continues to play a leading role in some of the largest and most high-profile insolvency related cases that require specialist offshore expertise. It is described in Chambers and Partners Global 2024 as a "strong all-around commercial and insolvency litigation law firm with an excellent presence in the offshore legal market."
